Angel Ruiz Esparza was born in Mexico, a land full of contrasts. Heir of a tradition where Magic, Ritual and Colour play a very special role in the every day life, keen on travelling from his early youth, he has seen other countries and other traditions with an eye curious to search for the myth that gave birth to people`s reality. Combining colours, textures and myths from Oaxaca to Luxor and Benares and impressions from Mexico City to Los Angeles and Athens he has followed a path that crosses painting, sculpture, jewelry, and electronic media to express the spirit he has met at diverse places on Mother Earth`s face.
